Boston Sword & Tuna

P.J. Dionne Company completed a specialized plumbing renovation for Boston Sword and Tuna Company, a leading seafood supplier in Boston. The project involved constructing a new 2-story, FDA-certified seafood processing facility from the ground up in 15 months.

The building was uniquely designed with state-of-the-art plumbing to service the cold spaces. The underground system featured corrosion-resistant materials with all stainless-steel drains. Our work continued with prefabricated hose reel systems made of stainless steel to distribute water to the space, alongside an ozone disinfection system installed by our plumbers. The building also included live lobster tanks, flash freeze wells, and company amenities like a locker room and a state-of-the-art kitchen space. This project had many unique challenges, but ultimately, we delivered a fully detailed and fabricated, state-of-the-art facility with flexibility for future adaptation
