A new electric booster pump station provides water to over 60 acres of plants across Peters Hill. The Arboretum transformed and soundproofed the concrete garage on its property at 163 Walter Street, to accommodate a new 4-inch water service, that feeds a pump station. This system ensures that historic trees spanning over 60 acres no longer face droughts. Previously, manual interventions were necessary, but now everything operates seamlessly with this automated pump system.
