Plumbing for a 500-unit, 24-story residential and retail space building in Somerville, MA, situated above a 289-space garage.
This project included a concrete plank high-rise and wood frame unit construction over a podium, with individual gas lines running to each Navien combination unit from a master meter bank in the garage. We also completed work in various amenity areas, including the installation of a pool system and future services for first-floor tenant spaces. The building features multiple amenities such as a third-floor courtyard with a large lawn, community kitchen, and fireplace lounge adjacent to an oversized fitness center.
The project was phased to allow occupancy of units while construction continued on-site. Additionally, we provided coordination for both plumbing and HVAC trades, along with BIM management on behalf of the general contractor.
